I’ve been working on Azulea slowly but still making some progress.

I’ve made most of the battle sprites, I just need to animate attacks for 2 of the characters. After that, I’ll have to make an interior tileset for the town. The good thing is unlike the exterior, I can just map out the ones I need rather than every single building.

Added some in battle events. I’m happy that it turned out to be a small amount I needed though, much less work was needed than it was in Paradise Blue. Of course you’re not offered the same amount of freedom, as you choose (depending on where you are in the story) which characters you want rather than learning abilities.

I got a character gender-swapped. So instead of James, you’ll have Micaela.

Admittedly I haven’t had too much time to work on my game, but I do have more ideas in mind for what to do.
