Progress on Azulea is a bit slow at the moment, but I’m working on it.
Right now I made it so that searchable objects are sparkly. Then when you search them, the sparkle goes away, but sometimes you’ll see a bigger change too like a cabinet door shown open or something along those lines. That way you don’t have to remember what you checked and haven’t checked yet.
Here’s an example. I forgot to take the sparkly off of the bookcase when I took the screen (It has since been fixed), but the opened book used to be closed, the computer screen had a sparkly and something else on the screen, the drawer was closed, and the books were straight before. I’m hoping that it’s noticeable enough for the player.
I added a big store now. I need to map the interior, but this one will be more like a dungeon rather than a store. Avoid the crazy customers, the angry employees, while navigating the big store and all that.
I have other database work done too, as well as a battle background which you can see on my deviant art page. I’m just waiting on the story and then I’ll continue with it.

This screen reminds me of the Sailor Moon: Another Story RPG for the Super Famicom

I looked the screens up (haven’t played it) and yeah they’re bright colorful modern stuff too!
