Game 6 of 7! Now on to the DS, we have…
You can pick your hero! Oh no, it’s another Niccolo! If only you can go around scamming people this time.
Moti actually is a town elder instead of a shop owner! This is the only mana game where this ever occurs.
Take that! No Chobin Hoods are gonna arrow me. Enemies tend to just appear on the field until you clear them all out.
Well, helpers don’t get in the way this game. But they don’t… help. Or even appear in battle. You’re on your own!
I’m on Fiiire

Story learned so far:
There’s strange happenings going on in the island of Illusia. Animals are acting funny, and the stone in town releases a weird light. Tess is praying in the Mana tower when a woman comes and says there’s a weird light there too. Tess is on top of the tower, when a beast appears. You can’t harm it, but the Sword of Mana falls from the sky and disables its barrier.
The item drops are nice rewards, but otherwise it is actually fairly unremarkable at the beginning. Quests come in later, as do the other weapons.
